The NHS in Scotland, like every healthcare system is facing some unprecedented challenges. Fiscal austerity combined with an ageing population and rising health care costs necessitates delivering more for less resource. All partners in Scotland's healthcare are going to have to find new ways of working, developing opportunities for collaboration and harness innovation to meet these challenges.
The ABPI Scotland Conference is focused on these themes. Throughout the day this conference will look at how pharmaceutical companies support and deliver collaborations between industry and the NHS to benefit patients and support the NHS to deliver its objectives.
Keynote speakers include Nicola Sturgeon MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health, Well-being and Cities Strategy.
